Maintenance

Cleaning

  • Vacuum belt, rails, and base weekly to remove dust.

  • Wipe console, belt, and frame with a slightly damp cloth after each use.

  • Do not use solvents or harsh chemicals on belt or deck—they damage lubrication.

  • Dry all surfaces thoroughly after cleaning.

Belt Centering

  1. Run treadmill at 3–4 MPH with no user.

  2. If belt drifts left: Turn left rear roller bolt 1/4 turn clockwise.

  3. If belt drifts right: Turn right rear roller bolt 1/4 turn clockwise.

  4. Run 5 minutes to check; repeat if needed (max 1/4 turn at a time).

Belt Tension

  • If belt slips: Tighten both rear roller bolts 1/4 turn clockwise evenly.

  • Test and repeat if necessary. Do not over-tighten—it shortens belt life.

Deck & Motor Care

  • Lubricate running deck every 3–6 months with silicone lubricant.

  • Clean motor vents monthly to prevent overheating.

  • Inspect wiring quarterly for fraying or loose connections.

Troubleshooting

  • No power: Safety key not inserted; power cord unplugged; outlet dead. Insert key, plug in, check outlet.

  • Console dead: Blown fuse or faulty power supply. Check fuse; contact service.

  • Belt won’t move: Safety key missing; belt too tight/loose; drive belt broken. Check key and tension; call service if motor hums.

  • Belt slips: Loose belt or worn deck. Tighten belt; replace deck if needed.

  • No incline: Incline motor fault or loose wiring. Check wires; contact service.

  • Unusual noise: Loose bolts or worn bearings. Tighten hardware; call service if noise persists.

  • Heart rate inaccurate: Grips dirty or hands dry. Clean grips; moisten hands slightly.
