Model T8042 is an Automatic Distillation Tester for Petroleum Products, designed and manufactured in accordance with GB/T 8042 and related ASTM standard requirements. It is used to determine the distillation range of gasoline, diesel, kerosene and other light petroleum products, with full automatic heating, temperature detection, distillation control, liquid level tracking and result calculation.

It is used to determine the distillation range of gasoline, diesel, kerosene and other light petroleum products, with full automatic heating, temperature detection, distillation control, liquid level tracking and result calculation.

4. Operating Instructions

  1. Place the instrument horizontally, connect power supply and reliable grounding.

  2. Check the cooling system and add cooling medium as required.

  3. Pour the prepared sample into the distillation flask, install the flask and connect the distillation tube correctly.

  4. Place the measuring cylinder in the receiving position and cover with insulation cover.

  5. Turn on the power, enter the system interface, set sample type and test parameters.

  6. Press Start key, the instrument automatically starts cooling, preheating and distillation.

  7. Automatically record initial boiling point, final boiling point and each percentage distillation data.

  8. After test completion, stop heating, cool down, clean the glassware and shut down the equipment.

5. Safety Precautions

  1. The equipment works with high temperature and flammable samples, must be used in a well-ventilated fume hood.

  2. Do not touch the heating furnace and high-temperature glass parts during operation to avoid scalds.

  3. It is forbidden to disassemble internal electrical and control components without authorization.

  4. Cut off the power supply before maintenance, cleaning and moving.

  5. Prevent sample leakage, keep away from fire source to avoid fire risk.

6. Daily Maintenance

  1. Keep the instrument interior and glass parts clean after each test.

  2. Regularly replace cooling medium and clean condenser pipeline.

  3. Check heating furnace wire and temperature sensor regularly for aging and damage.

  4. Keep the working environment dry and dust-free.

  5. Regularly calibrate temperature and volume parameters to ensure test accuracy。
