Description
Securitron SPS10F (SPS-10F) Access Control Switching Power Supply Product Description
Overview
Securitron SPS10F (also marked SPS‑10F) is a regulated switching power supply from Assa Abloy Securitron, designed for access control, electromagnetic lock and door security system power supply. This SPS10F provides stable filtered DC output for maglocks, electric strikes, card readers and access controllers, widely used for building access control cabinet upgrade and spare‑part replacement of Securitron security power systems.
Features
Securitron SPS10F adopts switching topology with built‑in filter circuit to reduce ripple for stable DC output. This security power supply integrates overcurrent, short‑circuit and thermal overload auto‑recovery protection. SPS10F supports supervised output option for load status monitoring, sending fault signal to access control panel when output loss occurs. It has compact metal housing for cabinet mounting and complies with UL security standards. The unit supports continuous 24‑hour operation for door access systems.

Principle
Securitron SPS10F converts AC mains into stable low‑voltage DC through rectification, high‑frequency switching and feedback regulation. The filter circuit suppresses output ripple to avoid interference on card readers and lock control signals. When overload or short circuit occurs, the protection circuit cuts or limits output automatically and recovers after fault removal. Supervised version monitors output voltage and triggers fault feedback to the access host.
Applications
Securitron SPS10F is deployed in office buildings, hospitals, data centre and factory access control cabinets. This power supply feeds magnetic locks, electric strikes, RTE request-to-exit devices and access control boards. SPS10F fits security system maintenance and spare replacement of Securitron access power units.
Installation & Maintenance Notes
Follow official Securitron SPS series manual during installation of SPS10F. Confirm output voltage before connecting locks; mismatched voltage will damage maglock. Keep adequate clearance for heat dissipation. Check terminal tightness and output voltage periodically. Confirm exact part number SPS10F and output voltage variant before spare‑part swap‑out.
