Schneider Masterpact NW40 H1

The Masterpact NW40 H1 is a high current air circuit breaker from Schneider Masterpact NW series, rated at 4000A for low voltage power distribution. This Masterpact NW40 H1 supports drawout or fixed mounting configuration, with H1 breaking capacity grade for high short-circuit withstand and interruption performance. The Masterpact NW40 H1 is built for main incoming and bus tie protection in large industrial substations, data centers and power plant low voltage switchboards, and it is not designed for 12kV medium voltage service.

This Masterpact NW40 H1 can be equipped with Micrologic trip units, offering adjustable LSIG protection, earth fault protection, power metering and event recording functions. The Masterpact NW40 H1 supports communication modules for integration with SCADA and BMS systems, enabling remote monitoring, fault diagnosis and electrical energy management. Mechanical interlocks and shutter safety features of the Masterpact NW40 H1 prevent accidental contact with live parts during racking operations and maintenance. Operators can access local status display, parameter setting and fault log review directly on the trip unit of this Masterpact NW40 H1.

The Masterpact NW40 H1 complies with IEC 60947-2 standards and is available in 3-pole or 4-pole versions. The original production of the Masterpact NW40 H1 has been discontinued, and most available stock units are surplus spare parts for retrofit and emergency replacement of existing Masterpact NW distribution panels. Its robust frame design delivers stable performance under heavy continuous load and repeated short-circuit fault conditions.
