MODICON AS-B884-002 PID Control Module

MODICON AS-B884-002 is a high-performance PID module for Modicon 984 series PLC automation systems. This PID module is a 2-loop intelligent standalone PID processor with built-in multi-channel analog and discrete I/O. The PID module supports P, PI, PD and PID control algorithms and accepts 4-20mA, 1-5V, 0-10V input signals. This PID module supports stable continuous operation in chemical, heat treatment, boiler and packaging process production lines.

It serves as a core loop regulator to collect temperature, pressure and flow process signals and execute closed-loop calculation locally. The loop regulator outputs analog control signals to valves and actuators without heavy CPU intervention. This loop regulator provides on-board fault diagnosis and status LED indicators for rapid troubleshooting. The loop regulator is fully compatible with Modicon 984 rack systems.
