VARCO INTERNATIONAL HPU AND WATERPUMP START/STOP is a rugged drilling auxiliary control pcb card for Varco offshore top drive and drawworks control system. The drilling auxiliary control pcb card executes logic commands to start and stop hydraulic power unit and cooling water pump motors. This drilling auxiliary control pcb card receives remote orders from main drilling controller and local panel input signals. The drilling auxiliary control pcb card adopts conformal coating hardware to withstand salt mist, vibration and electromagnetic interference on drilling platforms.

This unit provides hydraulic & pump interlock logic control to guarantee safe motor sequence operation. The hydraulic & pump interlock logic control verifies permissive conditions before pump and HPU motor activation. The hydraulic & pump interlock logic control monitors overload, phase fault and equipment feedback signals continuously. The hydraulic & pump interlock logic control sends fault alarm notifications to the drilling operator console when abnormalities occur.
