ROLLS-ROYCE MARINE HELICON X3 is a rugged marine thruster & propulsion remote control system (P&T pitch & thrust control) for azimuth thrusters, tunnel thrusters and CP propeller vessels. The Helicon X3 propulsion control system consists of bridge proportional control levers, touchscreen HMI, main controller rack and distributed I/O units. This Helicon X3 propulsion control system adopts dual redundant main + backup follow-up control architecture, automatic switchover for propulsion command. The Helicon X3 propulsion control system meets DNV marine classification society requirements, vibration and salt spray resistant design for offshore vessels, fishing vessels and PSV.

This system delivers thruster pitch, speed & azimuth proportional command and safety interlock logic control.
