Description

L3 MARINE SYSTEMS L3MS-BI.40-SUP-E Binary Input Module

L3 MARINE SYSTEMS L3MS-BI.40-SUP-E is a 40-channel binary input module built for L3 / Lyngso Marine ship automation and platform management systems. This binary input module receives dry and wet contact digital signals from marine field sensors and alarm switches. The binary input module converts discrete contact status into digital data and transmits via marine bus network. The binary input module adopts channel galvanic isolation to avoid interference in engine room control loops.

Digital contact acquisition is the core function of L3 MARINE SYSTEMS L3MS-BI.40-SUP-E. Digital contact acquisition continuously monitors switch states of valves, breakers and onboard alarm devices. Reliable Digital contact acquisition feeds real-time status data to vessel central monitoring console. Configurable Digital contact acquisition supports adjustable debounce filtering to suppress signal bounce from mechanical contacts.

This unit provides solid marine environmental adaptability for engine room cabinet installation. marine environmental adaptability withstands salt mist, high humidity, mechanical shock and hull vibration at sea. Robust marine environmental adaptability keeps stable channel reading under wide temperature fluctuation. Complete marine environmental adaptability meets marine classification requirements for continuous 24-hour vessel operation.

L3 MARINE SYSTEMS L3MS-BI.40-SUP-E runs on 24V DC power supply, equipped with LED per-channel status indication and pluggable terminal connectors. Conformal coated PCB protects circuits against corrosion and moisture. Built-in self-supervision detects power failure and communication breakdown automatically. Widely deployed on cargo ships, tankers and offshore platforms for main engine alarm supervision, valve status monitoring and auxiliary machinery control. It serves as a key distributed I/O spare part for L3 marine integrated platform management systems.
