SIEMENS SINAMICS V60 SERVO DRIVE SYSTEM

SIEMENS SINAMICS V60 is a basic closed-loop servo drive system (CPM60.1 controlled power module), designed for simple positioning axes, matched with Siemens 1FL5 series AC servo motors, powered by 220–240V 3-phase AC supply. The servo drive module accepts pulse + direction command signals (max 333kHz) from CNC controllers such as SINUMERIK 801 / 802S / 808D or SIMATIC PLC to realize precise position control for machine tool feed axes and automation positioning equipment. The servo drive module integrates power unit, position loop controller and motor brake output, supporting 200% short-time overload capacity for rapid acceleration and deceleration of light and medium inertia loads. The servo drive module stores preloaded motor parameter sets, enabling fast commissioning without PC software; it is equipped with 7-segment LED display and buttons for local parameter setting and fault code reading. The servo drive module has built-in alarm relay contact output for fault signal transmission to upper control systems.

SINAMICS V60 adopts fanless die-cast aluminium heat sink design for cabinet mounting. The positioning drive unit has four current grades: 4A, 6A, 7A and 10A, corresponding to 0.8kW ~ 2.0kW 1FL5 servo motors with optional holding brake. The positioning drive unit supports simple jog operation and electronic gear ratio setting. The positioning drive unit integrates multiple protection functions: overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, overheat, motor overload and encoder fault detection, with fault code memory for troubleshooting. The positioning drive unit complies with EN61800 EMC standard for industrial environments. This is a legacy cost-effective servo solution widely used on old CNC lathes, milling machines and indexing automation equipment.
