MVI56-WA-EIP is ProSoft Technology communication gateway module for Rockwell ControlLogix chassis. It plugs directly into ControlLogix backplane, realizes data exchange between EtherNet/IP network and Modbus TCP devices. It acts as EtherNet/IP adapter and Modbus TCP master or slave, used to connect Modbus instruments, drives and remote equipment to ControlLogix PLC.
