Woodward 5437-465 is a microprocessor-based digital governor module under the 54xx hardware series, perfectly matched with Woodward 505E control system platform. It serves as the core control unit for steam turbines, gas turbines, diesel generator sets and industrial compressors, undertaking core functions including unit startup/shutdown management, rotational speed closed-loop adjustment, valve actuator driving and load distribution control. Equipped with an integrated man-machine display panel and multi-channel communication interfaces, the module collects real-time operating parameters from field sensors, calculates control outputs through internal control algorithms, and drives the steam inlet regulating valve to stabilize unit speed and output power, forming a complete closed-loop control system for thermal power and industrial power equipment.

Description

The whole machine adapts to an operating temperature range of 0℃ to 60℃ and non-condensing humid environment, with excellent dust resistance, vibration resistance and electromagnetic shielding performance. It can run stably for a long time in power plant central control rooms, petrochemical process workshops and distributed power station cabinets, resisting thermal accumulation inside cabinets, mechanical vibration of rotating equipment and electromagnetic radiation interference from high-voltage frequency conversion equipment, effectively avoiding control logic disorder and parameter drift caused by harsh environmental factors.
