1. Overview
This power supply adopts standard Ovation rack plug-in structure, compatible with system standard rack slots. It receives AC mains input, performs rectification, filtering, isolation and DC stabilization, and outputs qualified DC working voltage to the entire rack backplane bus. Dual identical power supply modules can be configured in parallel redundant mode: the two units share the load evenly in normal operation; if one unit fails, the other automatically undertakes full load power supply without interruption of cabinet control power. Each module undergoes factory long-term full-load aging testing, output precision calibration and insulation safety testing to guarantee continuous reliable power supply for the whole control cabinet.

2.1 Redundant Parallel Hot Backup & Bumpless Switchover
Supports two modules hot parallel redundant configuration. Load is shared equally under normal operating conditions; upon failure, overload or abnormal shutdown of one power supply, the standby unit seamlessly takes over full load instantly, with no power dip or interruption to DPU and I/O modules, ensuring uninterrupted system control.
2.2 High Efficiency Isolated DC Stabilized Output
Adopts high-frequency switching power supply topology, high conversion efficiency, low output voltage ripple and noise; built-in isolation transformer isolates input AC side and DC output side, effectively blocking mains grid interference from coupling into the DCS internal control circuit.
2.3 Multi-level Comprehensive Safety Protection
Integrates input overvoltage/undervoltage protection, output overcurrent limiting, short-circuit automatic locking, over-temperature shutdown and reverse connection protection. Faulty module locks output automatically without impacting the other redundant power supply and the entire rack load; automatic recovery after fault removal.
2.4 Online Hot-Swap Maintenance
Under redundant configuration, a single faulty power module can be pulled out and replaced live while the cabinet remains energized; no cabinet power cut is needed, control logic and field control loops keep continuous operation, greatly reducing maintenance outage duration.
2.5 Real-time Status Monitoring & Fault Upload
Onboard power monitoring circuit collects input voltage, output voltage, output current, internal temperature and module running status; fault signals can be uploaded to the DPU and upper monitoring system via backplane bus for remote alarm and fault diagnosis.
2.6 Low Heat Generation & Cabinet Adaptability
Optimized thermal design with built-in intelligent temperature-controlled cooling; low heat emission under rated load, suitable for long-term closed cabinet continuous operation, conforming to power plant control cabinet environmental requirements.
2.7 Native System Compatibility
Fully matched with all Ovation standard racks, backplanes, DPUs and I/O series modules; no adapter board or cabinet modification required for installation, applicable for new project cabinet assembly and spare part replacement during old unit renovation.
