The 5A22982G02 is an original plug-in dedicated thermal resistance temperature acquisition module for the Emerson Ovation DCS system. 1. Overview

Designed with standard plug-in mechanical structure fully compatible with universal Ovation control rack backplanes, this module supports 2-wire, 3-wire and 4-wire RTD wiring modes. It automatically compensates measurement errors caused by long field cable resistance, converts resistance changes corresponding to temperature fluctuations into standard digital temperature data, and uploads measurement results to the local DPU through the internal backplane bus. Every module undergoes strict multi-point temperature calibration and factory burn-in aging testing to ensure long-term stability, low drift and reliable temperature acquisition performance.

4. Front Panel LED Indicator Definition
