This module adopts standard plug-in mechanical structure fully compatible with universal Ovation control rack backplanes. It provides stable constant current excitation for 2-wire, 3-wire and 4-wire RTD thermal resistance sensors, automatically compensates the voltage drop error caused by field long-distance cable line resistance, converts resistance variation corresponding to temperature changes into digital temperature values, and transmits valid measurement data to the local DPU via internal backplane bus. Each module undergoes strict factory temperature point calibration and long-term burn-in aging testing to guarantee measurement stability and low temperature drift.

2.1 Multi-Type RTD Sensor Adaptation
Supports PT100, PT1000 standard platinum thermal resistance; compatible with 2-wire, 3-wire and 4-wire field wiring modes, with built-in automatic line resistance compensation function, effectively eliminating temperature measurement deviation brought by long signal cables.
2.2 Channel Independent Galvanic Isolation

2.3 Built-in Sensor Fault Diagnosis
Real-time detection of RTD open circuit, short circuit, lead wire breakage and abnormal resistance out-of-range; once a fault occurs, the module actively marks the channel fault status and uploads alarm information without affecting the normal measurement of other channels.
2.4 Multi-Layer Safety Protection
Integrated transient surge absorption, input overvoltage clamping and reverse wiring protection components, adapts to complex industrial field wiring environments and effectively resists instantaneous voltage spikes introduced by long-distance transmission cables.
2.5 Hot-Swap Online Maintenance
Supports live hot swapping under normal DCS operation state; module replacement maintenance will not interrupt temperature data acquisition of other channels or disturb critical equipment over-temperature protection logic.
2.6 Full Onboard Real-Time Self-Diagnosis
Continuously monitors internal power supply abnormality, backplane communication timeout and channel measurement overload; fault codes and alarm messages are remotely uploaded to Ovation operator workstation, and front panel LED indicators provide local intuitive status prompts for rapid on-site troubleshooting.

Fully compatible with full-series Ovation DPUs and standard I/O backplanes; no additional adapter boards or cabinet reconstruction required during installation, applicable to new project construction and spare part replacement for old unit renovation projects.
