Description

The 5226D20H01 is a dedicated temperature acquisition I/O module for Emerson Ovation DCS. The suffix H01 represents fixed hardware version and factory preset configuration. It accesses field Pt100 and other RTD thermal resistance sensors, converts resistance changes corresponding to actual temperature into digital signals, and transmits data to the DPU controller for temperature display, over-temperature interlock protection and closed-loop temperature control.
Adopts rack plug-in structure, supports hot swapping without impacting other modules in the same control rack. Each channel is equipped with independent galvanic isolation, surge suppression and overvoltage protection circuits, which can effectively restrain interference brought by long field sensor cables and avoid backplane circuit damage caused by abnormal external signals.
Built-in full-channel online diagnosis function can real-time detect sensor open circuit, short circuit, wire breakage and module internal hardware faults, fault information will be uploaded to the operator station for remote alarm and maintenance reminder.
Sensor type, measuring range scaling, digital filtering time and fault action strategies are configured uniformly in Ovation engineering software. It features high measurement precision, low temperature drift and strong EMC performance, widely used for equipment temperature monitoring in thermal power, petrochemical, metallurgy and other process industries.
