The module adopts rack plug-in structure and supports hot swapping without affecting other modules running in the same control rack. Each input channel is equipped with independent galvanic isolation, surge absorption and overvoltage protection circuits, which effectively restrain ground loop interference induced by long field cables and avoid damage to the rack backplane circuits caused by abnormal on-site voltage. Built-in full-channel online diagnosis can real-time detect loop open circuit, short circuit, transmitter power loss and internal module hardware faults, and upload fault codes to the operator workstation for remote alarming and maintenance arrangement.
Channel range scaling, digital filtering time constant, engineering unit conversion rules and fault response modes can be uniformly configured through Ovation engineering configuration software.
