4256A64G06 is the sixth-generation top upgraded RTD temperature acquisition card of Westinghouse Emerson 4256 series Ovation WDPF distributed control system, fully plug-and-play backward compatible with G01/G02/G03/G04/G05 historical versions. It matches 4256A25 series MRC main remote control boards and 4256A26 remote expansion boards for remote I/O rack assembly, no system configuration, logic program or parameter adjustment required during card replacement.

Description

This module is customized for ultra-high precision collection of PT100 and PT1000 resistance temperature detector signals under ultra-harsh industrial working conditions. It adopts military-grade ultra-low noise front-end filtering circuit, temperature self-compensating constant current excitation source, three-stage cascaded reinforced galvanic isolation and newly upgraded full-range self-learning temperature conversion algorithm, transmitting ultra-low drift, high repeatability digital temperature measurement data to DCS main controller. Compared with G01~G05 previous revisions, G06 updates industrial-grade high-precision sampling chips with ultra-wide temperature stability, further suppresses zero drift and gain drift under extreme temperature fluctuation environment; embedded intelligent self-calibration algorithm for lead wire resistance, automatically eliminates measurement error caused by super long-distance field transmission cables; adds multi-level composite EMI/EMC suppression circuit, greatly improves anti-interference performance in heavy industrial scenes with strong electromagnetic radiation such as frequency converters, high-voltage cabinets and rotating equipment. It fully supports 2-wire, 3-wire and 4-wire RTD wiring modes, each signal channel equipped with fully independent isolation loop to thoroughly eliminate cross-channel signal crosstalk and mutual interference.
The circuit board adopts multi-layer high-temperature resistant FR-4 industrial PCB with 360° full-surround electromagnetic shielding structure. Every signal channel realizes 1000V AC/DC reinforced galvanic isolation between field wiring terminals and internal logic circuits, effectively isolate strong electromagnetic noise, surge and common-mode interference in thermal power, petrochemical, metallurgy and other heavy industrial sites. All finished boards pass full-lifecycle strict factory reliability verification, including 72-hour high-low temperature cyclic aging test, full-channel ultra-precision temperature calibration, long-term full-load MRC Link bus continuous burn-in test, sensor open-circuit, short-circuit and wiring fault comprehensive simulation test. It supports single-slot hot-swappable online replacement without shutting down the whole DCS system, and integrates comprehensive multi-layer hardware protection: surge suppression, overvoltage protection, overcurrent protection, reverse polarity prevention, short-circuit protection. Independent LED diagnostic indicators separately display power supply status, bus communication link status and single-channel sensor fault alarm information, realizing fast on-site fault location and troubleshooting, significantly improving long-term measurement accuracy and continuous stable operation performance of key industrial process temperature monitoring links.
