4256A64G05 is the fifth-generation flagship upgraded RTD temperature acquisition card of Westinghouse Emerson 4256 series Ovation WDPF distributed control system, fully plug-and-play backward compatible with G01/G02/G03/G04 old versions. It perfectly matches 4256A25 MRC main remote control boards and 4256A26 remote expansion boards for remote I/O rack deployment, no system configuration or program modification needed during replacement.

Description

This module is specially used for high-precision collection of PT100, PT1000 industrial RTD temperature signals. It integrates ultra-low-noise front-end filtering, ultra-stable temperature-compensated constant current excitation, reinforced multi-stage galvanic isolation and brand-new full-range adaptive temperature conversion algorithm, outputting ultra-stable, high-repeatability digital temperature data to DCS main controller. Compared with G01~G04 predecessors, G05 adopts top-grade military-grade low-drift sampling chips, further suppresses zero drift and gain drift under wide temperature fluctuation; optimizes long-distance cable lead resistance self-adaptive compensation algorithm, effectively eliminates measurement deviation brought by ultra-long field wiring; upgrades multi-stage EMI suppression circuit, stronger anti-interference ability in complex heavy industrial electromagnetic environment. It supports 2-wire, 3-wire, 4-wire all RTD wiring modes, each channel equipped with completely independent isolation loop to thoroughly avoid cross-channel signal crosstalk.
The circuit board adopts multi-layer high-temperature resistant FR-4 industrial PCB with 360° full-surround electromagnetic shielding layout. Every signal channel realizes 1000V AC/DC galvanic isolation between field wiring terminals and internal logic circuits, which can resist severe electromagnetic noise interference generated by inverters, high-voltage switch cabinets, large rotating machinery and arc equipment in thermal power, petrochemical, metallurgical and other heavy industrial sites. All finished boards pass strict full-lifecycle factory reliability tests: 72-hour high-low temperature cyclic aging test, full-channel ultra-precision temperature calibration, long-term full-load MRC Link bus communication burn-in, sensor open/short-circuit comprehensive fault simulation test. It supports single-slot hot-swappable installation without shutting down the whole DCS system, and integrates multi-level all-round hardware protection circuits: surge suppression, overvoltage protection, overcurrent protection, reverse polarity prevention, short-circuit protection. Independent LED diagnostic indicators separately display power supply status, bus link state and single-channel sensor fault alarms, realizing fast on-site fault location, greatly improving long-term measurement accuracy and uninterrupted operation stability of critical industrial process temperature monitoring.
