This module is dedicated to acquiring resistance temperature detector signals such as PT100 and PT1000 from industrial field equipment. It implements signal filtering, constant current excitation, galvanic isolation and built-in temperature conversion algorithms, transmitting high-accuracy digital temperature data to the DCS main controller. The board supports 2-wire, 3-wire and 4-wire RTD wiring modes with automatic lead resistance compensation to eliminate measurement errors caused by long-distance field cables. Each channel adopts fully independent isolation circuits to avoid signal crosstalk among different temperature measurement loops. It features plug-and-play compatibility with all matched MRC master and expansion boards, requiring no modification of system configuration during replacement.
Constructed with multi-layer high-temperature resistant FR-4 industrial PCB and full enclosed electromagnetic shielding structure, every signal channel provides 1000V AC/DC galvanic isolation between field wiring terminals and internal logic circuits. It effectively resists severe electromagnetic noise generated by inverters, high-voltage switchgears and large rotating machinery in thermal power, petrochemical and metallurgical heavy industrial environments. Each unit undergoes comprehensive factory validation: 72-hour high-low temperature cyclic aging test, full-channel temperature precision calibration, long-term full-load bus communication burn-in and channel open/short circuit fault simulation. It supports single-slot hot-swappable installation without shutting down the entire DCS system, and integrates multi-level hardware protections including surge suppression, overvoltage, overcurrent, reverse polarity prevention and short-circuit protection. Independent LED diagnostic indicators clearly display power supply status, bus link state and single-channel sensor fault alarms for fast on-site troubleshooting, greatly enhancing the accuracy and long-term operational stability of industrial process temperature monitoring.
