4256A64G01 is a dedicated high-precision RTD signal acquisition board belonging to Westinghouse Emerson 4256 series Ovation WDPF distributed control system, paired with 4256A25 MRC main remote control boards and 4256A26 remote expansion boards for remote I/O rack configuration. This module specializes in collecting resistance temperature detector signals such as PT100, PT1000 from industrial field, completing signal filtering, constant current excitation, galvanic isolation and temperature conversion calculation, and transmitting accurate digital temperature data to the DCS main controller. It supports 2-wire, 3-wire and 4-wire RTD connection modes, with built-in lead wire resistance compensation algorithm to eliminate measurement deviation caused by long field wiring. Each channel adopts independent isolation circuit design to prevent signal crosstalk between different temperature measuring points. It is fully plug-and-play compatible with all matching MRC master cards and remote expansion boards, no modification of system configuration is required during replacement.

Description

The circuit board adopts multi-layer high-temperature resistant FR-4 industrial PCB with fully enclosed electromagnetic shielding layout. Every signal channel is equipped with 1000V AC/DC galvanic isolation between field wiring terminals and internal logic circuits, which effectively suppresses severe electromagnetic interference generated by inverters, high-voltage switchgears and large rotating machinery in thermal power, petrochemical and metallurgical heavy industrial sites. All finished boards pass rigorous full-process factory inspection including 72-hour high-low temperature cyclic aging test, full-channel temperature precision calibration, long-duration full-load bus communication burn-in and channel open/short fault simulation. It supports single-slot hot-swappable installation without shutting down the entire DCS system, and integrates multi-level hardware protection circuits: surge suppression, overvoltage protection, overcurrent protection, reverse polarity prevention and short-circuit protection. Independent LED diagnostic indicators display power supply status, bus link condition and single-channel sensor fault alarms for rapid on-site troubleshooting, greatly improving the accuracy and stability of long-term temperature monitoring in industrial process control.
