4256A62G01 Emerson Ovation WDPF DCS Pulse & Frequency Signal Acquisition Board

4256A62G01 is a dedicated pulse/frequency measurement acquisition board of Westinghouse Emerson 4256 series Ovation WDPF distributed control system, matched with 4256A25 MRC main remote control boards and 4256A26 remote expansion boards for remote I/O rack matching deployment. This professional module is specially designed for field pulse, frequency, speed and flowmeter pulse signals, realizing signal filtering, optoelectronic isolation, pulse counting and frequency conversion calculation, converting field pulse signals into standard digital data that can be identified by the DCS main controller. It supports turbine speed sensors, vortex flowmeters, turbine flowmeters, encoder pulse signals and other pulse-type measuring instruments. Each signal channel adopts independent isolation circuit design to avoid mutual interference between different measuring loops. It is fully plug-and-play compatible with all matched MRC master control and expansion boards, and no system program modification is required during card replacement.

Description

The circuit board adopts multi-layer high-temperature resistant FR-4 industrial PCB with fully enclosed electromagnetic shielding layout. Every signal channel is equipped with 1000V AC/DC galvanic isolation between field wiring terminals and internal logic circuits, which effectively eliminates strong electromagnetic noise interference generated by inverters, high-voltage switch cabinets and large rotating equipment in thermal power, petrochemical and metallurgical heavy industrial sites. All finished boards pass strict full-process factory verification, including 72-hour high-low temperature cyclic aging test, full-channel pulse measurement precision calibration, long-term full-load bus communication burn-in and channel short-circuit fault simulation. It supports single-slot hot-swappable installation without shutting down the entire DCS system, and integrates multi-level hardware protection circuits such as surge suppression, overvoltage, overcurrent, reverse polarity and short-circuit prevention. Independent LED diagnostic indicators display power supply status, bus link state and single-channel signal fault alarms, realizing fast on-site fault location, greatly improving the measuring precision and long-term stability of flow, rotation speed and pulse parameters in industrial production processes.
