This module processes field discrete digital signals including switch contact feedback, relay status signals, valve limit signals and logic output commands. It completes signal filtering, optocoupler isolation, level conversion and bus data packaging to realize bidirectional digital signal transmission between field equipment and DCS main controller. Every channel is designed with independent opto-isolation to avoid cross-channel signal crosstalk. It is fully plug-and-play compatible with all matched MRC master cards and remote expansion boards, and no system configuration modification is needed during replacement.
The board adopts multi-layer high-temperature resistant FR-4 industrial PCB with fully enclosed electromagnetic shielding. Each signal channel is built with 1000V AC/DC galvanic isolation between field wiring terminals and internal logic circuits, which effectively suppresses strong electromagnetic interference generated by inverters, high-voltage switchgears and large rotating equipment in thermal power, petrochemical and metallurgical heavy industrial sites.
All finished boards pass strict full-process factory tests: 72-hour high-low temperature cyclic aging, full-channel signal consistency calibration, long-term full-load bus communication burn-in and single-channel fault simulation. It supports single-slot hot-swappable installation without shutting down the entire DCS system, and integrates multi-level hardware protections including surge suppression, overvoltage, overcurrent, reverse polarity and short-circuit protection. Independent LED diagnostic lights display power status, bus connection status and single-channel fault alarms for fast on-site troubleshooting, greatly improving the reliability of discrete signal acquisition and logic control output under complex industrial working conditions.
