This module processes on-site discrete digital signals such as contact switch feedback, relay status signals, valve limit switches and logic control output instructions. It realizes signal filtering, optocoupler galvanic isolation, level conversion and bus data encapsulation, enabling bidirectional data interaction between field machinery and the DCS main controller. Each channel adopts independent opto-isolation design to eliminate signal crosstalk among different measuring points. It is fully plug-and-play backward compatible with all matched MRC master cards and remote expansion boards, with no system configuration adjustment required during replacement.
The circuit board adopts multi-layer high-temperature resistant FR-4 industrial PCB with fully enclosed electromagnetic shielding layout. Every signal channel features 1000V AC/DC galvanic isolation between field wiring terminals and internal logic circuits, effectively restraining severe electromagnetic noise generated by inverters, high-voltage switchgears and large rotating equipment in thermal power, petrochemical and metallurgical heavy industrial sites.
Each finished board passes comprehensive factory validation tests, including 72-hour high-low temperature cyclic aging test, full-channel signal consistency calibration, long-term full-load bus communication burn-in and independent channel fault simulation. It supports single-slot hot-swappable installation without shutting down the whole DCS system, and integrates multi-level hardware protection circuits: surge suppression, overvoltage protection, overcurrent protection, reverse polarity prevention and short-circuit protection. Independent LED diagnostic indicators display power supply status, bus link condition and single-channel fault alarms to facilitate rapid on-site troubleshooting, significantly boosting the stability and reliability of discrete signal collection and logic control output under complex industrial field environments.
