4256A41G02 Emerson Ovation WDPF DCS Upgraded Analog Signal Conditioning Interface Board

4256A41G02 is the upgraded second-generation analog signal conditioning acquisition card of Westinghouse Emerson 4256 series Ovation WDPF DCS system, fully plug-and-play backward compatible with the base version 4256A41G01, matching perfectly with 4256A25 MRC master control boards and 4256A26 remote expansion boards for remote I/O racks. This module performs filtering, galvanic isolation, signal amplification and impedance matching for field analog signals including 4-20mA, 0-10V, RTD and thermocouple, converting weak on-site analog signals into standard digital signals recognizable by the DCS main controller. Compared with 4256A41G01, it optimizes signal sampling chips and front-end filter circuits, delivering higher measurement precision, lower signal drift and stronger anti-crosstalk performance between independent channels. Each channel adopts independent isolation design to eliminate mutual interference of multi-point measuring signals.

Description

The circuit board adopts multi-layer high-temperature resistant FR-4 industrial PCB with full enclosed electromagnetic shielding layout. Every signal channel is equipped with 1000V AC/DC galvanic isolation between field wiring terminals and internal logic circuits, effectively resisting severe electromagnetic noise generated by inverters, high-voltage switchgears and large rotating equipment in thermal power, petrochemical and metallurgical heavy industrial sites.
All finished boards pass strict factory qualification tests: 72-hour high-low temperature cyclic aging, full-channel precision calibration, long-term full-load communication burn-in and channel fault simulation. It supports single-slot hot-swappable installation without overall DCS system shutdown, and integrates multi-level hardware protections such as surge suppression, overvoltage, overcurrent, reverse polarity and short-circuit prevention. Independent LED diagnostic indicators display power supply status, bus link state and single-channel fault alarms for rapid on-site troubleshooting, improving long-term stability of analog data acquisition and reducing measurement deviation risks under complex field wiring environments.
