4256A26G01 is the original Westinghouse legacy part number, and 1C31183G01 is Emerson’s unified aftermarket spare part number. These two part numbers correspond to the identical remote I/O expansion interface board, which cooperates with the 4256A25 series MRC main remote control board for Ovation WDPF distributed control systems. Acting as a signal transmission bridge between MRC master cards and multiple field remote I/O subracks, it expands the access quantity of field remote stations and undertakes remote communication data buffering, bus signal reshaping and secondary bus scheduling. This module is fully plug-and-play and backward compatible with all versions of MRC main boards without modifying system configurations.
