4256A25G02 / 1C31025G04 Emerson Ovation WDPF DCS MRC Main Remote Control Board

4256A25G02 is the old Westinghouse part number, 1C31025G04 is Emerson’s unified spare part number, the two numbers correspond to the same second-generation MRC (Main Remote Control) remote master control board of the Ovation WDPF distributed control system, fully plug-and-play interchangeable.

Description

This board is the core communication master station module for remote I/O racks, responsible for high-speed two-way data transmission, remote bus resource scheduling and field analog/digital signal preprocessing between the main control cabinet and distributed field remote stations. Compared with the basic version 4256A25G01/1C31025G03, this upgraded G02 model optimizes the main control chip, bus communication algorithm and redundant switching logic, with larger data cache and faster fault switching speed, suitable for medium-sized multi-station DCS control systems.
The circuit board adopts multi-layer high-temperature resistant FR-4 industrial PCB with full surrounding electromagnetic shielding design. 1000V AC/DC isolation is set between the external remote bus terminal and the internal logic circuit, which can effectively resist strong electromagnetic interference generated by high-voltage equipment, frequency converters and large rotating machinery in thermal power, petrochemical, metallurgy and other heavy industrial sites.
Each finished product passes strict factory testing: 72-hour high and low temperature cycle aging test, full-load long-time bus communication aging test, redundant channel fault simulation and full-channel hardware precision calibration. It supports single-slot hot-swappable backplane installation without shutting down the whole DCS system, and integrates multi-level surge suppression, overvoltage, overcurrent, reverse connection and short-circuit protection circuits. Equipped with multiple independent LED diagnostic indicators to display power supply, main bus link, remote channel operation and hardware fault codes, it facilitates rapid on-site fault location, improves the continuous operation stability of the system, and reduces unplanned production downtime and maintenance costs.
