7. Installation & Safety Instructions

1. Cut off the total power supply of the WDPF system before installation or removal.

2. Take ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) protection measures, wear anti-static wristband during operation.

3. Connect the 34-pin ribbon cable correctly: align the red stripe with Pin 1 of the drive interface, and fasten the power connector tightly.

4. Fix the drive into the chassis with standard screws, and ensure reliable grounding.

5. Use only qualified 360KB 5.25" double-density floppy disks. Keep disks clean and dry to avoid read/write errors.
