Description

1. Product Overview

3A99165G04 is single-width Eurocard plug-in servo power amplifier optimized on the basis of G03 hardware design, fully pin-to-pin compatible with all former G-series versions for direct field replacement without cabinet rewiring. It receives ±10V analog/PWM valve command signals from 3A99164G50 speed controller card, converts control signal into constant drive current for EH servo solenoid coil, meanwhile collects multi-channel LVDT valve position feedback to complete closed-loop position regulation of turbine main stop valves and governing valves.
Compared with G03 version, G04 optimizes internal power drive circuit, EMC filter network and overheat protection design, greatly improving anti-interference capacity under severe high-frequency electromagnetic environment inside power plant control cabinet and reducing valve hunting/position drift failure rate.

  • Backplane power supply: +5VDC, ±12VDC supplied by 3A99132 series PCPS rack power module

  • Control input: ±10VDC analog signal / PWM modulated signal from upper master card

  • Rated output current: adjustable constant current 0~±40mA for EH servo magnet coil driving

  • Feedback channel: multi-group AC small-signal input port for LVDT displacement transducer connection

  • Onboard configuration: independent channel short-circuit fuse, upgraded surge absorption component, precision adjustable gain potentiometer for on-site closed-loop parameter calibration, full-stage RC anti-noise filter circuit

4. Panel Indication & Maintenance Feature

Front panel equipped with independent LED indicators for power status, input signal fault, output overload, LVDT feedback abnormality respectively; reserved test terminals for multimeter detection and loop debugging during field maintenance. Cold-swap supported under rack standby condition without full power cut, widely configured redundant dual-card on critical turbine governing loop for uninterrupted control.

5. Supply & Common Fault Description

Original OEM production discontinued; available products include fully bench-tested refurbished modules and surplus original spare parts with standard 12-month warranty.
  • No output: mostly caused by blown channel fuse or damaged rear-stage drive chip

  • Valve oscillating/hunting: filter capacitor degradation or gain potentiometer parameter drift

  • Slow valve position drifting: aging LVDT signal pre-amplifier circuit or poor PCB gold finger contact
