1. Upload real-time field process data, analog/digital acquisition signals from DPU to operator workstation

2. Download human-machine control command, parameter setting and logic modification from WEStation down to DPU main control card

3. Transmit system fault alarm, equipment self-diagnosis abnormal information bidirectionally; backup communication path when Westnet optical fiber bus fails temporarily
