3A98688G02 is a dedicated front-panel SCSI connecting cable exclusively engineered for Westinghouse WDPF WEStation VME workstation chassis, matched with 3A986XX series network TAP modules and rack power assemblies (same product series as 3A98648G32 / 3A98658H08).
It realizes high-speed SCSI data transmission between front-panel external storage device and internal VME backplane mainboard inside WEStation control cabinet, responsible for historical data caching, system configuration file loading and DCS alarm record storage transmission. Original OEM mass production has been fully discontinued by Emerson; available supplies include factory-tested refurbished harness and dismantled original surplus spare parts for thermal power, cogeneration and petrochemical DCS on-site maintenance replacement.
