Inspect terminal base, backplane slot and module appearance for physical damage before installation.
Align module golden finger with base connector and insert firmly until locking buckle clicks into fixed position.
Complete hardware auto-scan in Ovation configuration software; system automatically recognizes module model and slot address.
Set channel output mode, load limit and fault alarm parameters per field equipment layout, then download configuration to rack main controller.
Execute single-point channel output test to verify correct command transmission between module and field actuators.

Common Fault Diagnosis
Power LED off: Check rack backplane power supply and base plug connection priority.
Communication LED off: Inspect backplane bus contact, foreign blockage inside slot or rack controller fault.

Recurring channel overload alarm: Reduce on-site load within module rated specification range.
