3223746A6 is a standard QBO-series 16-channel digital output module designed exclusively for Emerson Ovation DCS control system, fully compatible with Ovation rack backplane and matched terminal base, interchangeable with 3218079A5,3211913B5 and other Ovation DO series cards.

Description

This module receives digital control commands from rack main controller via internal backplane bus, converts system logic signals into 24VDC field driving signals to control on-site solenoid valves, contactor coils, auxiliary relays, indicator lamps and other switching actuators. Widely used in thermal power, petrochemical, metallurgy and wastewater treatment control cabinets for pump/valve interlock and sequential on-off control.
Core design supports full hot-swap replacement without rack power cut or control loop shutdown; independent per-channel overcurrent, short-circuit and surge protection is integrated to avoid permanent hardware damage from field wiring faults. Built-in self-diagnostic firmware monitors module power, bus communication status and individual channel working conditions, uploading all fault codes and alarm logs to Ovation HMI and system historical database automatically.

4. Installation & Commissioning Guide

  2. Communication LED off: Inspect backplane bus contact, foreign blockage inside slot or rack controller fault.

  3. Single channel no output: First verify field wire breakage or overload load; replace module only after eliminating field-side failure.

  4. Recurring channel overload alarm: Reduce on-site load within module rated specification range.
