1. Product Overview
Model 307-100 is a rugged industrial inline variable area flowmeter (rotameter) designed and manufactured by Emerson Rosemount for continuous volumetric flow measurement of liquid and gas inside process pipelines. It features mechanical float-and-tube measuring principle without external power supply, widely used in thermal power, petrochemical, water treatment and fine chemical industries for small pipeline flow indication, flow limiting and auxiliary process flow monitoring.
The transparent or metal measuring tube and internal float assembly form the core measuring structure. Medium flowing upward lifts the float to a stable position corresponding to real flow value, and readings can be obtained directly from the graduated scale on the meter body. Compact structure allows direct inline installation on horizontal or vertical piping with minimal space occupation. No auxiliary impulse piping is required, which reduces leakage risks and simplifies field installation work.

Onsite direct reading accuracy is typically ±2.5% full scale under calibrated working condition. The instrument supports wide adjustable flow range, and optional multiple scale ranges can be selected according to actual process medium and design flow demand. Process Connection & Material
Standard nominal size for 307-100 is DN100 threaded or flange connection to match industry standard pipeline. Wetted parts including measuring tube and float default material is 316 stainless steel; optional PTFE lining and Hastelloy float are available for corrosive acid, alkali medium service. Outer meter housing adopts cast metal with anti-rust coating for outdoor harsh ambient protection.
Operating Pressure & Temperature
Maximum allowable working pressure depends on tube configuration, general design withstand pressure up to 1.6 MPa; permissible medium temperature ranges from -20℃ up to +120℃ under standard configuration.
3. Environmental Working Condition
Ambient working and storage temperature covers -30℃ ~ +60℃; applicable relative humidity ranges from 5% to 95% non-condensing environment. The mechanical flowmeter works reliably without power supply even under unstable field power condition.
4. Optional Configuration & Certification
Optional built-in limit switch for high/low flow alarm output to connect with site DCS or local control cabinet. Standard products comply with general industrial pressure vessel specification and related explosion-proof option available for hazardous area installation.
