3051L with serial number 5938694 is Emerson Rosemount liquid level flange-mounted smart transmitter designed for hydrostatic level measurement. Different from coplanar types, it adopts extended remote diaphragm seal structure with direct flanged connection to tank bottom, widely used in petrochemical, power, food and pharmaceutical industries for open or sealed tank liquid level monitoring under high temperature, high viscosity or easy crystallization medium conditions.

The built-in high-precision capacitive sensing element transfers liquid hydrostatic pressure caused by medium height into standard electrical signal with digital communication function. Remote diaphragm seal and capillary filled with filling fluid isolate sensor from harsh process medium to prevent medium blocking and corrosion damage. Onboard intelligent diagnostic module continuously monitors capillary leakage, diaphragm abnormal deformation and signal loop fault to lower unexpected maintenance and unplanned shutdown. Every transmitter finishes factory calibration and sealing pressure test before delivery for fast field commissioning after installation.

Reference accuracy reaches up to ±0.04% full calibrated span, overall installed performance is controlled within ±0.15% full scale. Max adjustable turndown ratio is 150:1 to realize flexible on-site range reset without hardware replacement. Five-year long-term stability is kept within ±0.125% of calibrated span during continuous long-period operation.

Standard output signal is 4–20mA analog overlaid with HART7 digital protocol, supporting remote parameter configuration via handheld communicator or DeltaV DCS system. Optional communication options include FOUNDATION Fieldbus H1, PROFIBUS PA and WirelessHART as customized order required. Conventional loop-powered HART version needs supply voltage between 10.5VDC and 42.4VDC.

Process wetted flange and remote diaphragm default material is 316L stainless steel; alternative corrosion-resistant materials such as Hastelloy C-276, Monel and tantalum are available for strong corrosive medium. Transmitter housing is die-cast aluminum with anti-corrosion epoxy coating, multiple types of capillary filling fluid can be selected to match different medium temperature environments.

Ambient operating and storage temperature ranges from -40℃ to +85℃; applicable relative humidity is 5%~95% under non-condensing environment. The applicable process medium temperature depends on selected fill fluid specification to satisfy high or low temperature working conditions.

Optional backlit local LCD supports on-site real-time level value reading as well as zero and span trimming operation. Body side push buttons enable local field calibration without extra auxiliary tools. Advanced built-in diagnostics cover diaphragm damage detection, capillary leakage warning and current loop integrity monitoring.

This level transmitter gains SIL2/SIL3 functional safety certification conforming to IEC61508 standard, together with ATEX and FM explosion-proof certificates for hazardous area installation, covered under Emerson five-year limited factory warranty.
