The built-in high-precision capacitive sensor converts process pressure into standard electrical output signal with digital communication function. The coplanar design enables direct mounting with 3-valve or 5-valve manifolds without extra adapters, cutting pipeline layout complexity and reducing fluid leakage risks. Integrated self-diagnostic electronics continuously detect plugged impulse tubing and circuit faults to lower unexpected maintenance and unplanned plant shutdowns. Construction Materials

Optional corrosion-resistant alternatives such as Hastelloy C-276, Monel and tantalum are available for harsh corrosive medium and NACE sour service environments. Transmitter housing is die-cast aluminum with anti-corrosion epoxy paint, and silicone oil is used as default sensor fill fluid for regular working conditions.

Operating ambient temperature ranges from -40℃ to +85℃, identical for storage temperature. Relative working humidity is limited between 5% and 95% with no condensation occurring. With standard silicone filling fluid, applicable process medium temperature covers -40℃ to +120℃.

4. Functions and Certifications

Optional backlit local LCD supports on-site real-time data reading as well as zero and span trimming. Built-in push buttons enable field calibration without auxiliary instruments. Advanced onboard diagnostics cover blocked impulse line detection, loop health monitoring and abnormal process alert.
The transmitter is certified SIL2/SIL3 under IEC61508 functional safety standard, together with ATEX and FM explosion-proof approvals for installation in hazardous classified locations. The product is covered with five-year limited factory warranty from Emerson.
