2P1064X102 is Emerson DeltaV FOUNDATION Fieldbus H1 interface card designed for DeltaV DCS system rack mounting. This plug-in module establishes data communication between DeltaV system controllers and field-based FOUNDATION Fieldbus smart instruments including transmitters, smart valve positioners and flow meters. 2P1064X102 is Emerson DeltaV FOUNDATION Fieldbus H1 interface card designed for DeltaV DCS system rack mounting. This plug-in module establishes data communication between DeltaV system controllers and field-based FOUNDATION Fieldbus smart instruments including transmitters, smart valve positioners and flow meters. 2. Technical Specifications
The module follows FOUNDATION Fieldbus H1 communication protocol with standard baud rate at 31.25kbps. Each card carries one independent fieldbus segment which allows connection of maximum 32 fieldbus devices. The module receives working power from DeltaV rack backplane, while external isolated power conditioner is required to supply power for field-side fieldbus equipment. Galvanic isolation is implemented between internal system circuit and field wiring to avoid damage caused by field surge and abnormal voltage fluctuation.
Operating temperature inside control cabinet ranges from 0 degree Celsius to 60 degree Celsius, storage temperature spans from minus 40 degree Celsius to positive 85 degree Celsius, and applicable working relative humidity keeps between 5 percent and 95 percent without condensation. The product meets relevant UL and CE industrial certification standards.
3. Compatibility
This interface card fits standard DeltaV M-series and S-series I/O rack slots for direct plug-and-play replacement of same specification spare parts without cabinet modification. It cannot be used interchangeably with other type analog or digital I/O modules of DeltaV system due to different backplane communication definition.
4. Application Scope
It is widely installed in DeltaV DCS control cabinets of refining plant, thermal power station, natural gas processing factory and fine chemical production facility, functioning as core connecting component for centralized signal collection and remote control of fieldbus instrumentation.
