2B10335G09 is the latest updated plug-in rack power supply from Emerson Westinghouse Ovation DCS 2B10335 series. It can directly replace G05 and G06 models with fully consistent installation size and electrical interface. The module is used to provide stable 24VDC power supply for rack controllers, I/O modules and cabinet internal relay circuits in thermal power, nuclear power and petrochemical DCS control cabinets. It supports N+1 redundant parallel hot standby running to prevent system power failure resulting from single power module breakdown.

Description

1. Product Overview

2B10335G09 is the latest updated plug-in rack power supply from Emerson Westinghouse Ovation DCS 2B10335 series. It can directly replace G05 and G06 models with fully consistent installation size and electrical interface. The module is used to provide stable 24VDC power supply for rack controllers, I/O modules and cabinet internal relay circuits in thermal power, nuclear power and petrochemical DCS control cabinets. It supports N+1 redundant parallel hot standby running to prevent system power failure resulting from single power module breakdown.
The product uses closed all-metal housing together with integrated heat dissipation structure. Three LED indicators are arranged on the front panel to display input power state, normal output signal and fault warning respectively. Internal upgraded EMI filter and reinforced multi-level anti-surge circuits effectively restrain strong electromagnetic interference generated by cabinet contactors and frequency converters. The module meets UL, CE and IEC industrial safety and EMC criteria and can run continuously 24 hours per day under industrial working conditions.

2. Technical Specifications

This power supply features wide alternating current input ranging from 85VAC to 264VAC with applicable frequency between 47Hz and 63Hz to fit most global industrial power grid conditions. Standard stabilized output is 24VDC, with identical rated power and output current compared with G05 and G06 versions. Internal circuit of G09 has been optimized for lower output ripple, better long-time load stability and improved low temperature startup performance.
Complete protection functions include overvoltage protection, overcurrent protection, automatic cut-off upon output short circuit and overheat shutdown protection. The module will stop output immediately once overload, short circuit or overheating happens so as to safeguard rear-end DCS cards from damage.
Normal operating temperature inside control cabinet is from 0 degree Celsius to 60 degree Celsius, while storage temperature covers minus 40 degree Celsius to positive 85 degree Celsius. Working relative humidity is controlled within 5 percent to 95 percent without condensation inside the equipment.

3. Differences among G05, G06 and G09

2B10335G05 refers to the original early production edition with standard original component configuration. 2B10335G06 is the first upgraded version with partial component improvement. 2B10335G09 is the latest revision adopting upgraded electronic components, higher grade capacitors and enhanced anti-interference design. All three models are interchangeable on the same installation slot.

4. Application Range

It is widely installed in Ovation DCS cabinets for thermal power boiler control, steam turbine protection system, auxiliary equipment interlock cabinet, nuclear auxiliary control equipment and petrochemical emergency shutdown control system as the stable power source for core control hardware and field signal collecting modules.
