DKS01.1-W050A-DL01-01 | Bosch Rexroth Indramat DIAX02 Single-axis Servo Drive

Product Introduction The German Indramat (the predecessor of Rexroth) DKS01.1 compact digital servo drive, with DL01 main control configuration, paired with the MDD series AC servo motor, is controlled by the upper-level PLC's pulse / analog quantity instructions. It does not have an internal independent point programming function. It is a mainstream spare part model for machine tools and imported old automated equipment. The original factory has already discontinued production, and the market mainly consists of disassembled and refurbished spare parts.

Description

Model Segmentation Explanation

DKS01.1-W050A-DL01-01

DKS01.1: DIAX02 series compact body, with built-in basic power board, no external capacitor interface, cabinet-mounted air-cooled structure

W050A: Power specification, three-phase AC230V input, rated continuous output 25A, peak 50A, driving power approximately 9.5kVA; A = Hardware PCB version

DL01: Core card configuration: L = Analog + Pulse Command Control Card (DL1.1), without built-in DEA IO board DG model, no onboard local point program, operates by receiving instructions from an external PLC; 01 = Card hardware version

01: Firmware program version (compared to DG01-00, this model's customized firmware version 01) Technical Specifications

Main power supply: Three-phase AC 200~230V 50/60Hz, control power supply is independently powered by AC 230V

Output current: Continuous 25A, peak short-time 50A, compatible with corresponding power MDD synchronous servo motor

Protection level: IP10, limited to vertical installation inside the control cabinet

Brake configuration: Built-in energy consumption braking circuit, can be expanded by external high-power braking resistors

Operating environment: Ambient temperature 0~45℃, moisture-proof and dust-proof, industrial standard DIN installation dimensions

Interface and communication configuration

CON1: Motor encoder feedback port, compatible with rotary transformers / incremental encoders (MDD motors标配 feedback)

CON2: Upper-level instruction interface (DL card dedicated): Differential pulse instructions (direction + pulse), ±10V analog speed/torque instructions, directly connected to PLC pulse output module, without built-in IO terminals

CON3: RS232 debugging port, connects to Indramat DSM debugging software, handheld programmer, for parameter reading and writing, fault troubleshooting

Expansion: The body does not have onboard IO. If external limit switches and start/stop switches are needed, additional IO expansion cards must be installed; there is no standard fieldbus (Profibus/Canopen requires an optional communication subcard)

Core functions

Three closed-loop control: position closed-loop (pulse set), speed closed-loop (±10V analog), torque closed-loop, all controlled by the upper-level PLC issuing instructions, the driver cannot store position programs internally (the biggest difference between DL and DG: DG has a local positioning program card)

Motor brake management: The drive has an internal brake control circuit, automatically manages motor brake coils upon power-on / failure

Full-dimensional fault diagnosis: Overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, overheating, encoder abnormality, overload fault codes output

Electronic gears, acceleration and deceleration curve parameters can be modified online through DSM software

Key differences between DL01 and DG01

DL01: External PLC fully controlled type, no onboard position program, no built-in IO, can only receive external instructions;

DG01: Equipped with DLC positioning card + DEA IO board, can store multiple segments of positioning programs locally without PLC, has 15 input 16 output IO terminals. Applicable scenarios

Old-fashioned CNC processing machines, imported textile machines, packaging assembly lines, and original European and American non-standard automated equipment maintenance and replacement are mostly used in scenarios where servo axes follow PLC motion control.

Operation and Maintenance Instructions

Installation: The electrical control cabinet should be installed vertically, with a minimum of 5cm of space reserved for ventilation. Power cables and encoder shielding lines should be routed separately to prevent interference.

Debugging: The motor nameplate parameters must be entered using Indramat DSM debugging software and matched with the pulse parameters of the upper-level PLC.

Highly frequent faults: Power modules, CON1 encoder socket, and power input circuits. Maintenance should prioritize troubleshooting these three areas.

Replacement of spare parts: For the same W050 power segment, DL01 and DG01 cannot be directly interchanged. The main control card needs to be replaced and the firmware needs to be reloaded.
