DKS01.1-W030B-RL02-0 | Rexroth Indramat DIAX02 Servo Drive

I. Model Segmentation Explanation DKS01.1-W030B-RL02-0 DKS01.1: DIAX02 first-generation single-axis servo power supply base, with uniform overall installation dimensions W030: Cabinet air-cooling, rated continuous output 30A, peak 62A, compatible with 1.5 - 7.5kW MDD servo motors B: Built-in braking chopper + integrated braking resistor, no need for external braking unit RL02: Second-generation RL bus control board (upgraded version, compared to RL01) Standard configuration: SERCOSⅠ optical bus, encoder pulse simulation output, enhanced DI/DO ports Optimized communication anti-interference, expanded IO points, compatible with high-resolution encoders (TTL/RS422) From RL01 initial version to RL02 hardware revision, firmware compatibility is upwardly compatible The suffix -0 = abbreviation -00: DSM firmware slot empty slot, no pre-installed FW firmware card, the machine needs to be separately written with DIAX02 companion firmware; the suffix with FW indicates factory pre-installed and solidified firmware Quick differentiation of control boards DA01: Pure analog ±10V control, no SERCOS optical bus DL01: SERCOS + single machine independent point programming RL01: Initial SERCOS + encoder simulation + basic IO RL02: Upgraded SERCOS + enhanced IO + compatibility with various types of encoders (this model)

Description

II. Electrical Parameters (Same as W030 Power Specification)

Input Power Supply: Three-phase AC 230V ± 10%, auxiliary single-phase AC 230V, 50/60Hz

Capacity: 4.5kVA, PWM carrier 18kHz, DC bus DC 310V

Built-in Braking: Peak discharge 7.2kW, continuous braking 0.38kW

Dimensions: 302×86×212mm, Net Weight 1.97kg, IP20 Cabinet Installation

Operating Environment: Full Load 0~45℃, Closed Cabinet 55℃, Reduced Power 85% for Overload

III. Key Points of RL02 Upgrade Compared to RL01

IO Channel Expansion: More programmable input/output points, suitable for more limit switches, origin, and interlock signals

Encoder Compatibility Upgrade: Besides the conventional incremental code, supports high-frequency pulse frequency division output, suitable for old PLC counting systems

SERCOS Optical Transceiver Circuit Optimization: Lower failure rate of long-line multi-axis serial networking communication

Hardware Circuit Optimization, Suppresses Power-on Surge, Reduces High Temperature Error Messages

IV. Interface Configuration

Power Terminals: Three-phase incoming line, U/V/W motor power terminals, built-in braking circuit

Command Ports: ±10V analog speed control, pulse direction positioning input

Encoder: Motor encoder connection + replicated pulse output (Unique to RL series)

Bus: Dual SERCOS optical transceiver ports, multi-machine fiber hand-in-hand networking

Debugging Port: Panel debugging interface, vacant DSM firmware card slot (This machine has no FW), fault passive alarm contact NO/NC

V. Application Scenarios

Imported machining center feed axis, CNC lathe X/Z axis, printing machine indexing, packaging automation line; Equipment that requires SERCOS bus + external pulse feedback should prefer RL02 over the old RL01 model

VI. Replacement & Maintenance Tips

This machine has no FW firmware card. The same RL02-FW model can be directly replaced; Before installing the empty slot model, it must be bricked with firmware through IndraWorks

Power off and stand still for ≥15 minutes, discharge the bus capacitor, then open the cover for maintenance

Compatibility and Interchangeability: RL02 can directly replace the original equipment RL01 base, hardware pins are universal
