Encoder Port: Dual 15pin D-SUB feedback ports compatible with TTL incremental ABZ encoder and resolver, isolated onboard 5V encoder power supply
Digital I/O: Standard DI/DO terminals for drive enable, hardware limit signal, homing trigger and motor holding brake sequential control
Command Input: ±10V analog speed/torque reference, pulse+direction position command input
Communication: Front RS232 for DriveTop parameter setup; Profibus-DP / CANopen / SERCOS available via optional daughterboard depending on finalized series hardware
Core Functions
Three-loop closed-loop control for position/speed/torque; supports analog speed regulation, pulse positioning and DI-triggered sequential fixed positioning. Complete fault protection including overcurrent, DC bus over/undervoltage, power module overheat and encoder break with front LED fault codes. Electronic cam and master-slave gearing synchronization only available with FM suffix; FW version excludes these advanced motion features.
Application Fields
Heavy-duty roll slitting production line, large rotary printing press, heavy fabric/plastic winding machine, high-power CNC main spindle drive and heavy gantry automation equipment.
Operation & Maintenance Instructions
Type7 high voltage unit must connect to three-phase 380~480V supply; single-phase 220V input results in continuous DC bus undervoltage alarm and insufficient torque.
Reserve sufficient top and bottom cabinet ventilation clearance as specified by the confirmed series model to avoid over-temperature shutdown.
Frequent forward-reverse cyclic load requires external matched high-power braking resistor to prevent internal brake burnout.
Parameter download requires corresponding DriveTop software matching final FW or FM firmware version.
