Description

Model Code Definition

DKC = ECODRIVE03 full digital servo drive family identifier

02.3 = Series 02, Revision 3 hardware, factory pre-reserved slot for SERCOS fiber communication daughterboard, standard compact heat dissipation structure vs DKC21.3 high-power series

040 = Nominal continuous rated output current: 40Arms

7 = High voltage grade, three-phase AC380~480V input, nominal 700VDC DC bus specification

FW = General basic three-loop control firmware, excluding embedded electronic cam and master-slave electronic gearing functions

Core Functions

FW standard firmware executes full closed-loop regulation of position, speed and torque. Supports three operation modes: analog voltage speed regulation, pulse positioning, multi-step fixed positioning triggered by digital input. Built-in STO Safe Torque Off safety function together with full protection against overcurrent, DC bus over/undervoltage, power module overtemperature and encoder wire break, front LED numeric fault indication. No native electronic cam and multi-axis synchronous gearing features.

Application Fields

Rotary printing machinery, plastic film slitting & winding lines, medium-load packaging automation, small CNC feed axes and multi-spindle assembly equipment.

Operation & Maintenance Instructions

Type-7 high voltage variant must be powered via three-phase AC380~480V mains; single-phase 220V input causes persistent DC bus undervoltage fault and insufficient output torque.

Natural cooling design requires ≥40mm unobstructed ventilation space at top and bottom of drive unit inside cabinet.

Recurring frequent forward-reverse cyclic working needs matched external braking resistor to avoid internal bleeder overheat damage.

Parameter backup and download must adopt matching DriveTop software edition; parameter files cannot be directly migrated between FW and FM firmware versions.
