DKC02.3-016-7-FW | Rexroth Indramat ECODRIVE03 Servo Drive

Product Introduction German Leistritz Indramat has discontinued the original SERCOS bus single-axis servo. The FW=FreeWare open-source general firmware base (without pre-installed dedicated firmware cards, but can be later equipped with MGP/SGP etc. firmware cards), with a 16A current specification, compatible with 1.1-1.5KW MSM/MAC series permanent magnet servos, spare parts for CNC, rubber and plastic, textile, and printing equipment. The main body hardware is universal, and the firmware can be selected and written as needed.

Description

Model Explanation

DKC02.3: ECODRIVE03 with SERCOS optical bus hardware platform as standard

016: Rated continuous output current 16Arms

7: Seventh-generation power hardware version

FW: Base firmware bare board, without pre-installed dedicated control firmware, can be equipped with MGP/SGP/other firmware modules Technical Specifications

Continuous output current: 16 Arms, peak 38.4A (400ms short-term overload)

Main power supply: Three-phase AC 200~240V 50/60Hz; DC bus 300VDC

Control power supply: Independent DC 24V power supply, fault codes are saved when the main circuit is powered off

Motor power compatibility: Rated 1.1kW~1.5kW, maximum instantaneous output power approximately 5.2kW

Output voltage: AC 0~230V, maximum output frequency 333.3Hz

Feedback interface: TTL incremental ABZ encoder + Resolver resolver transformer dual compatibility

Brake configuration: Built-in power discharge resistor, external external braking resistor can be connected for high-power loads

Dimensions: W70mm×H230mm×D180mm, net weight approximately 1.8kg

Environmental conditions: Full-load operation at 0~45℃, reduced power at 45~55℃; humidity ≤ 90% RH without condensation, IP20 cabinet-mounted vertical installation

Interface and communication configuration

Power terminals: L1/L2/L3 three-phase incoming line, U/V/W motor power connection, external braking resistor terminals

General I/O terminals: DC 24V power supply, servo enable, fault reset, hard limit DI, ready/fault DO, ±10V analog instruction, pulse direction input

Encoder composite socket: Incremental encoder + resolver shared integrated interface

Communication ports

1. RS232 debugging port: IndraWorks/DriveTop debugging, firmware download and writing

2. Standard SERCOS optical interface, multi-axis optical series synchronization

3. Slot reserved: After installing MGP card, Profibus/CanOpen bus communication can be expanded Core function

The FW bare board has no solidification control program. After installing the corresponding firmware card, the function can be enabled:

With MGP: supports analog quantity, pulse, SERCOS three-axis instructions, point program, electronic gear, origin search

With SGP: only dedicated control for SERCOS bus

Full loop hardware protection: overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, overheating, encoder break, phase missing, motor locked rotor alarm; comes with brake timing control, parameter EEPROM power-off preservation. Applicable scenarios

Numerical control milling machine feed axis, textile winding servo, rubber and plastic extrusion traction axis, printing high-speed cutting main axis.

Usage and Maintenance

1. Only three-phase AC220V power supply is allowed. Do not connect 380V power source.

2. Replacement of new machines must install corresponding firmware cards (MGP/SGP). Without firmware, it cannot run.

3. Hardware of the same series DKC02.3-004/008/012/016 can be interchanged. After replacement, firmware + motor parameter setting must be reconfigured.

4. Class F faults should be prioritized to check the power cables, encoder shielding lines, and 24V control power supply.
