ABB CP430BP-ETH is a 5.7 inch monochrome STN human-machine interface from the CP400 series. It is fitted with resistive touch screen, physical function keys and CCFL backlight. Built with Ethernet and serial communication ports, it delivers stable performance and strong connectivity for daily monitoring and operation of industrial equipment. It is compatible with ABB controllers and mainstream third-party automation devices.

CP stands for control panel. 430 refers to the 5.7 inch model in the CP400 series. B represents monochrome STN display. P stands for standard panel configuration. ETH means the unit is equipped with Ethernet interface.

It adopts a 5.7 inch STN monochrome display with 16 blue levels and 320 by 240 pixel resolution. It uses resistive touch control and CCFL backlight with a service life of 50000 hours. One menu key and five customizable function keys are available. It is powered by a 32-bit RISC processor, equipped with 4 MB flash memory, 512 KB RAM and 512 KB battery backed RAM. The operating power is 24 V DC with a tolerance of ±10 percent, and the typical working current is less than 0.5 A. The operating temperature ranges from 0 °C to 50 °C, storage temperature ranges from -10 °C to 60 °C, and relative humidity is 20 percent to 90 percent without condensation. The front panel reaches IP65 protection class and the rear part is IP20. The total weight is about 0.86 kg. An internal lithium battery maintains the real-time clock function after power cut.

It is equipped with 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port which supports Modbus TCP protocol. Two serial ports support RS232, RS422 and RS485 signals, and are compatible with Modbus RTU protocol. A standard USB port is used for program upload, download and data storage. The supporting configuration software is CP400 Soft.
