LCN Port: 2 × Coaxial (LCN-A / LCN-B), redundant access to the LCN backbone network;

GUS Interface: Special cable connection for the GUS operation station (配套 cable 51305380-100);

Isolation: Electrical isolation between LCN and GUS to suppress common-mode interference;

Diagnosis: Power / Link LED status indication, supports GUS remote diagnosis. Core Functions

GUS connects to LCN: Provides LCN network communication capabilities for the global user station;

Signal conversion: Adapts LCN differential signals to GUS single-ended signals;

Electrical isolation: Isolates the LCN bus from the operation station to prevent fault spread;

Impedance matching: Optimizes LCN signal transmission, reducing reflections and attenuation;

Redundancy support: Dual LCN ports, combined with system redundancy to achieve uninterrupted communication. Application Scenarios

GUS operation station: Operator station and engineer station for TDC 3000 / Experion PKS systems;

Process industry: Large-scale DCS devices such as oil and gas, chemical, power, petrochemical, and paper industries;

System upgrade / expansion: Replacement of old GUS stations or addition of new operation stations as a complement. Usage & Maintenance

Usage

Installation: Fixed inside the GUS station or on the cabinet rail;

Wiring: Connect to the LCN-A/B system using LCN coaxial cables, and connect the GUS port to a dedicated cable;

Power On: Powered by the GUS, confirm that the Power light is constantly on and there is no Fault alarm;

Configuration: The engineer station identifies the GUS node and assigns an LCN address. Maintenance

Environment: Well-ventilated and dry, temperature range: -20 °C to +70 °C. Avoid high temperature (>50 °C);

Inspection: Monthly check LED status; Quarterly check coaxial connector tightness and cleanliness;

Replacement standard: Aluminum shell, Rev F version; Replace when the shell overheats (>50 °C) or communication is abnormal;

Spares: Store in anti-static packaging, avoid strong magnetic fields;

Maintenance: Do not disassemble by yourself. Faulty parts should be returned to Honeywell or authorized service center.
