JANCD-MBB02.1

Specification: I/O backplane for the Anson Motoman XRC/MRC robot control cabinet, version Rev A of MBB02, a direct upgrade replacement for MBB01.

Description

I. Model and Identification

Model: JANCD-MBB02-1 (referred to as MBB02-1, the MBB02.1 you wrote is the same item with a different spelling)

Version: Rev A (subsequently upgraded to MBB02-2 Rev B)

Part Number: 132147-2 (replacing 132147-1 of MBB01)

Soldering: PCB printed as JANCD-MBB02-1 Rev A

Ownership: JANCD series → XRC/MRC robot control cabinet (not a CNC motherboard, not compatible with MB20/21/22)

Status: Completely discontinued by the original manufacturer, with a small stock less than MBB02-2, and the price is slightly higher.

II. Differences between MBB02-1 and MBB01/MBB02-2

1. MBB02-1 (Rev A) vs MBB01

Slot plating: MBB02-1 has all slots plated (MBB01 is tin-plated), providing better oxidation resistance and more stable contact.

Power / Ground optimization: Backplane wiring improved, with an approximately 30% increase in anti-interference.

Battery interface: Added anti-reverse connection protection (MBB01 has none).

Power consumption / Temperature: DC24V / approximately 65W, operating temperature 0–45℃ (MBB01 is 0–40℃).

Compatibility: Completely replaces MBB01, with the same pins / dimensions / installation holes, and can be directly replaced.

2. MBB02-1 (Rev A) vs MBB02-2 (Rev B)

MBB02-1 (Rev A): Initial upgrade, plated slots + anti-reverse connection protection, but a few batches have minor interference risks, discontinued.

MBB02-2 (Rev B): Final stable version, PCB re-optimized, capacitors / resistors upgraded, higher MTBF, prefer Rev B.

Interchange: MBB02-1 and MBB02-2 have completely compatible pins, and can be interchanged.

III. Core Specifications (MBB02-1 Rev A)

Compatible systems: Motoman XRC, MRC robot controllers (DX100/DX200 not applicable)

Slots: 12 I/O slots (equipped with AIF01/YIF01/UIF01 and other robot I/F boards)

Connectors: 5 (1×96-pin, 2×16-pin, 2×3-pin)

Battery: Special CNBATVD (not available for MB20/21's 5.5V battery)

Size / Weight: Approximately 250×220×30mm / 1.2kg

IV. Key Differences from CNC MB20/21/22 (Must Read) Table

Purpose XRC/MRC Robot I/O Expansion Back Panel J300/LX3 Numerical Control System CPU / Axis Card Motherboard

Slots 12 x I/O Slots (Robot I/F Board) 6/8/9 x System Slots (CPU / Spindle Card)

Subboards Compatible AIF01/YIF01/UIF01 PC20/PC21/PC22

Battery Special CNBATVD (Anti-Reversal) 5.5V (MB20/21)/3V (MB22)

Replacement Not interchangeable for numerical control motherboard Not interchangeable for robot back panel

V. Replacement and Selection Suggestions

Priority: MBB02-2 (Rev B) > MBB02-1 (Rev A) > MBB01.

Purchase Points: Select gold-plated slots, no corrosion, tested OK, disassembled / refurbished board with warranty.

Common Alarms:

No display upon power-on → Check 24V power supply and 5 connectors.

Parameter loss → Replace with special CNBATVD battery (anti-reversal).

Unstable I/O communication → Prioritize MBB02-2 Rev B.
