JANCD-MB22

JANCD-MB22 (Yaskawa, the third-generation motherboard of the LX3/J300 system) Position: The next-generation new architecture motherboard for MB21/MB213, used for YASNAC LX3 (high-end CNC) and later J300 systems. The original factory has discontinued it, and the stock is extremely limited.

Description

I. Model and Identification

Model: JANCD-MB22 (common sub-models: MB22-1/MB22-3; the latter is the high-end version)

Part Number: DF810521-C0 (Rev C is the most stable)

Soldering: PCB surface is marked with JANCD-MB22, version: Rev A/B/C

Series Classification: JANCD → LX3 (high-end CNC) / J300 (later version) / RK22 (robot)

Status: The original factory has completely discontinued production, there is no direct replacement model, it is a top-level scarce spare part.

II. Core Differences between MB22 and MB213 (Key Points)

1. Hardware Architecture (New Design)

Slot Count: MB22 has 9 slots (MB213 has 8 slots), dedicated CPU / memory / communication / axis card.

Bus: New 32-bit high-speed bus, bandwidth is 50% higher than MB213, supports multi-axis linkage of LX3.

Power Supply: DC24V ±10%, load capacity 400mA, four redundant + precise voltage regulation, suitable for high-power axis cards.

Size / Weight: Approximately 310×270×40mm, 5kg (larger and heavier than MB213).

Battery: BR-2/3A 3V lithium battery (MB20/21/213 are 5.5V, not universal).

2. Compatibility (Completely Incompatible with Older Models)

Sub-board Specific: Equipped with PC22 (CPU), MM22 (memory), JIF22 (communication), JSP22 (spindle), MB21 sub-board (PC21/MM21) cannot be interchanged.

System Compatibility: Only applicable to LX3 full series, J300 later high-end version, RK22 robot, cannot replace MB21/MB213, and vice versa.

3. Reliability and Alarm

Temperature Range: 0–60℃ (MB213 is 0–65℃, but has better high-temperature stability).

MTBF: Approximately 200,000 hours (MB213 is 180,000 hours), ALM01/ALM02 alarm rate is extremely low.

III. Technical Parameters (MB22-3 High-End Version)

Power Supply: DC24V ±10%, power consumption approximately 90W.

Backplane Slots: 9 (CPU / memory / communication / spindle ×3 / axis card ×2 / reserved ×1).

Interfaces: CN1 (24V), CN2 (3V battery), CN3 (MDI), CN4 (RS-232C), CN5 (I/O), CN6-CN9 (extension), CN10 (LX3 dedicated bus).

Weight: 5kg.

Five. Typical Configuration Combinations

LX3 High-End CNC: MB22-3 + PC22 + MM22 + JIF22 + JSP22 (High Power Spindle) + Axle Carriers ×2

RK22 Multi-Axis Robot: MB22 + PC22 + MM22 + JIF22 + Multi-Axis Card

Six. Replacement and Selection Suggestions

MB22 and MB21/213 are completely incompatible: Cannot be directly replaced; the entire sub-board and battery need to be replaced.

Priority of Spare Parts: MB22-3 (Rev C) > MB213 (Rev C) > MB21 (Rev C) > MB20E; Preferentially select the board that has been disassembled and tested OK and comes with warranty.

Alarm Handling: ALM01 Checks the Sub-board is Firmly Inserted and the Gold Finger; ALM02 Replaces the 3V BR-2/3A Lithium Battery (Parameters Will Be Lost During Power Failure)
