JANCD-MB213

JANCD-MB213 (Yaskawa, J300/RK20 system motherboard, MB21-3 version) Position: Derivative model of MB21 (MB21-3), belonging to the high-end system motherboard of YASNAC J300 CNC / JZNC-RK20 robot control cabinet. The original factory has discontinued it, and there is very little market stock. It is mainly dismantled and refurbished.

Description

I. Model and Identification

Model: JANCD-MB213 (also known as JANCD-MB21-3)

Part Number: DF8101521-C0 (Rev C is the most stable)

Soldering: Printed on the front of the PCB as JANCD-MB213, with versions Rev A/B/C

Series Classification: JANCD → J300 (Numerical Control) / RK20 (Robot)

Status: Completely discontinued by the original manufacturer, no direct replacement model available, it is a high-value and scarce spare part.

II. Core Differences (Key) between MB213 and MB21 (1)

Hardware and Configuration

Slot Count: MB213 has 8 slots (same as MB21), but the slot pins are gold-plated and thicker, providing better oxidation resistance.

Power Supply: MB213 has 24V with load capacity of 350mA (MB21 is 300mA), with three redundant paths + surge suppression, suitable for high-power expansion.

Bus: The bus bandwidth of MB213 has been further increased by 20%, supporting higher-order spindle / axis cards (such as JSP21B).

Size / Weight: Approximately 285×255×35mm, 3.5kg (slightly larger / heavier than MB21).

2. Compatibility (Important)

Fully compatible with MB21 daughter boards: Can be directly inserted into PC21/MM21/JIF21/JSP21, etc., without rewiring / parameter modification.

Incompatible with MB20 daughter boards: Same as MB21, PC20/MM20, etc. cannot be inserted mutually.

System Adaptation: Suitable for high-end J300 models, RK20 multi-axis robots, can be directly replaced by MB21 (upward compatibility).

3. Reliability and Alarm

Temperature Range: 0–65℃ (MB21 is 0–60℃), suitable for high-temperature / dusty conditions.

MTBF: Approximately 180,000 hours (MB21 is 150,000 hours), ALM01/ALM02 alarm rate is extremely low.

III. Technical Parameters (MB213)

Power Supply: DC24V ±10%, power consumption is approximately 80W.

Backplane Slots: 8 (CPU / Memory / Communication / Spindle ×3 / Reserved ×2).

Interfaces: CN1 (24V), CN2 (5.5V battery), CN3 (MDI), CN4 (RS-232C), CN5 (I/O), CN6-CN9 (Expansion).

Battery: NEC 5.5V lithium battery (compatible with MB20/MB21, with a lifespan of 3–5 years).

Replaceability Not Replaceable for MB21/213 Replaceable for MB213 (Downward Compatibility) Replaceable for MB21 (Upward Compatibility)

Five. Typical Configuration Combinations

Numerical Control J300 (High Configuration): MB213 + PC21 + MM21 + JIF21 + JSP21B (High-power Spindle)

Robot RK20 (Multi-axis): MB213 + PC21 + MM21 + JIF21 + Multi-axis Card

Six. Replacement and Selection Suggestions

MB213 can directly replace MB21 (High-to-Low Replacement, Risk-Free); MB21 cannot replace MB213 (Low configuration with non-moving high configuration expansion).

Not fully compatible with MB20: Cannot be directly replaced, requires complete replacement of sub-boards.

Priority of Spare Parts: MB213 (Rev C) > MB21 (Rev C) > MB20E; Preferentially select the board that has passed disassembly testing and has a warranty.

Alarm Handling: ALM01 checks the tightness of the sub-board and the gold fingers; ALM02 replaces the 5.5V Lithium Battery (Replace when power is lost to lose parameters).
