YASKAWA JANCD-MB20E CNC Master Control Board
Description
I. Model and Version Evolution
Model: JANCD-MB20E (Part Number: DF8101356, same as MB20/A/B/C)
Version Chain: MB20(A) → MB20B → MB20C → MB20E (E is a modified version of C, not a completely new model)
Identification: PCB Soldering Mark: JANCD-MB20E, Rev A (Common)
II. Core Improvements (Compared with MB20C)
Power Stability Enhancement
24V power supply circuit copper foil thickened + Overcurrent point optimization, load capacity stable at 200mA, reduction of voltage drop
Battery Backup Circuit Capacitor and Inductor Upgrade, reduction of ALM02 (Battery Low) false alarm rate
Anti-interference and Reliability
Full inner layer ground plane coverage of PCB, further improvement of EMI/ESD protection
Critical signal lines differential routing + Shielding isolation, almost no ALM01 (Bus Error)
Operating Temperature: 0–55℃ (Same as C version, with greater component margin)
Compatibility and Adaptation
100% compatible with all subboards of J300: PC20, MM20, JIF10, JSP04/JSP11, etc.
Direct replacement of MB20(A)/B/C, no need for rewiring, no need to reset parameters
Adaptation to Control Cabinet: YASNAC J300 (Numerical Control), JZNC-RK20 (Robot)
III. Technical Parameters (E Version)
Power Supply: DC24V ±10%, Power Consumption approximately 55W
Backplane Slots: 6 (CPU / Memory / Communication / Spindle ×2 / Reserved)
Interfaces: CN1 (24V), CN2 (5.5V Battery), CN3 (MDI), CN4 (RS-232C), CN5 (I/O), CN6-CN8 (Expansion)
Battery: NEC 5.5V Lithium Battery (Life 3–5 Years)
Size / Weight: Approximately 250×220×30mm, 2.6kg
MTBF: Approximately 120,000 Hours (C version 100,000 Hours)

V. Common alarms and handling
ALM01 (Bus error): Very rare in E version; check that the sub-board is securely plugged, the gold fingers are clean, and the backplane is not oxidized
ALM02 (Low battery): BAT light on → Replace NEC 5.5V lithium battery (replace when power is off to avoid losing parameters)
ALM03 (CPU anomaly): Reinsert PC20, check if 24V power supply is stable
VI. Replacement and selection suggestions
Priority: E version > C version > B version > A version (decreasing in stability / lifespan)
Replacement rule: Higher version can directly replace lower version (E→C→B→A), lower version cannot replace higher version
Inventory status: Original factory has stopped production, market disassembly testing is OK / refurbished with warranty as the main option, E version has less stock than C version
VII. Typical configuration combinations
Numerical control J300: MB20E + PC20 (CPU) + MM20 (memory) + JIF10 (communication) + JSP04/JSP11 (spindle)
Robot RK20: MB20E + PC20 + MM20 + JIF10 + axis card
