JANCD-JBB03
Description
I. Basic Information
Model: JANCD-JBB03
Brand: YASKAWA (Yaskawa Electric)
Applicable System: YASNAC J300 Series CNC (Type B Control Cabinet)
Function Position: System Backplane / Motherboard (Backboard)
Board Number: J300 Type B Backboard
Weight: Approximately 2.3 kg (5 lb)
II. Core Functions
Board Card Carrying Capacity: Provides multiple sets of standard slots for installing CPU, I/O, axis cards, power supplies, etc. of J300-specific board cards.
Bus Interconnection: Internally integrates data bus + address bus + power distribution to achieve high-speed communication and power supply for each board card.
Power Supply Connection: Connects external AC power supply and system power unit to provide DC5V, ±12V, DC24V, etc. control power for the entire cabinet.
Signal Conversion: Front-end leads out I/O terminals, servo interfaces, encoder interfaces, operation panel interfaces, etc. for external connection ports.
III. Compatible Board Cards (YASNAC J300 Series)
CPU Board: JANCD-JCP03 / JCP13
I/O Board: JANCD-JIO03 / JIO13
Axis Control Board: JANCD-JAX03 (up to 8 axes)
Power Board: JANCD-JPS03
Expansion Board: JANCD-JEX03 (Communication / Analog Input)
IV. Installation and Wiring Tips (Core of the Manual)
1) Installation
Power off, anti-static (must wear wrist strap).
Fix on the rear rail of the J300 control cabinet, screw lock for vibration prevention.
When inserting the board card into the slot, the gold fingers face down, align with the slot and push in evenly to avoid crooked fingers.
2) Power Supply Wiring (Key)
AC Input: L/N/PE → Backboard Power Terminal (corresponding to JPS03 power board).
DC Output: Backboard distributes DC5V (±5%), ±12V, DC24V to each slot.
Fuse: Backboard integrated main fuse (10A/250V), branch fuses (3A/5A) protect each slot.
3) Signal Interfaces
CN1~CNn: I/O Terminal Platform (connects external buttons, sensors, solenoids).
SVR1~SVR8: Servo Drive Interface (YASNAC J300-specific bus).
ENC1~ENC8: Encoder Feedback Interface (differential signal).
OP: Operation Panel Interface (handwheel, buttons, display).
V. Common Faults and Troubleshooting
No power for the entire machine: Check AC input, backboard main fuse, JPS03 power board output.
Board Card Not Recognized: Clean the gold fingers, change the slot, check the backboard bus voltage (is DC5V normal?).
I/O Signal Abnormal: Check the backboard CN terminals wiring, 24V power supply, and whether the common terminal (COM) is correct.
Servo Alarm: Check SVR interface wiring, encoder line shielding, and whether the backboard differential signal is normal.
