JANCD-IO Series Introduction JANCD-IO is a digital I/O board card under the JANCD series of Yaskawa. It has two major application scenarios: For CNC machines: JANCD-IO21, IO01-1, etc. (compatible with LX3 / i80) For robots: JANCD-IO01B (I0OIB), IO04C, YIO21-E, AIO01/02-E, etc. (compatible with XRC, DX200, YRC1000)

Description

1) JANCD-IO21 (CNC LX3 / i80)

Input: 40 points DC24V

Output: 40 points DC24V transistors, 0.3A / point

Interface: 2×50 pins (CN1 = input, CN2 = output)

Board number: DF8200030

Purpose: Standard I/O for machine tools, connecting toolboxes, fixtures, cooling, lubrication, etc.

2) JANCD-IO01B = JANCD-I0OIB (XRC robot)

Input: 40 points DC24V

Output: 40 points DC24V transistors, 0.5A / point (higher current than CNC version)

Interface: 2×50 pins

Board number: DF8000020

Purpose: External I/O for robots, conveyor belts, fixtures, safety signals, external start

3) JANCD-YIO21-E (DX200 robot)

Input / Output: 40 input / 40 output DC24V

Connectors: CN306, CN307, CN308, CN309 (General I/O)

Power supply: CN303 (external 24V), CN304 (internal power supply)

Features: With LED status lights, supports NPN/PNP

4) JANCD-AIO01-E / AIO02-E (YRC1000 robot)

AIO01-E: NPN type

AIO02-E: PNP type

40 input / 40 output, DC24V, 0.5A / point

1) Installation and environment

Installation: Standard slot of control cabinet, gold fingers facing down, screws for fixation

Temperature: 0~45℃ (robot version -20~+60℃)

Humidity: 10%~90% RH (no condensation)

Vibration: ≤0.5G

Away from strong electricity (frequency converter, contactor), distance ≥15cm

2) Wiring norms (key points)

Power supply: DC24V ±10%, recommend series 2A fuse

Input: NPN common terminal connected to 24V, with signal as 0V; PNP common terminal connected to 0V, with signal as 24V

Output: Each point ≤0.5A, total current ≤1.5A; for heavy loads use relay

Cables: Input uses shielded twisted pair, shield layer single-ended grounding; output selects wire diameter according to current

3) Connector definition (taking YIO21-E as an example)

CN303: External 24V power supply (1=24V, 2=0V, 3/4 = empty)

CN304: Internal 24V output

CN306/308: Input signal

CN307/309: Output signal (recommended for large current use CN307)

4) Common faults and handling

Input no response: Check 24V, common terminal wiring, sensor type (NPN/PNP)

Output does not act: Check load, wiring, whether output point is burned out, LED status

Communication error: Clean gold fingers, change slot, check backplane 5V

Overheating: Clean dust, check fan, environmental temperature
