JANCD-GRT01

JANCD-GRT01 (Yasu NAC 2000G/3000G CRT Display + Keyboard Control Board) GRT01 = CRT Display Driver + Panel I/O Control Card, belonging to the old display / panel interface board of the YASNAC 2000G/3000G system, used for early CRT displays, and clearly differentiated from the GMR/GRS series.

Description

I. Basic Information

Model: JANCD-GRT01

Brand: Yaskawa (Anson)

Origin: Japan

Type: CRT display and operation panel control board (CRT/Keyboard Control Board)

Compatible system: YASNAC 2000G / 3000G CNC (early CRT models)

Main control: GMM11/GMM12 (old 4-axis / 6-axis main control)

Board form: Full-length industrial board, Slot2 slot (CRT display dedicated)

Original part number: DE6428681

Status: Discontinued (DISCONTINUED), only second-hand / refurbished items are available

Weight: Approximately 0.5kg

II. Core Functions (Different from GMR/GRS)

✅ CRT display driver: Dedicated driver for old single-color / color CRT displays (not VGA)

✅ Operation panel I/O: Directly connects MDI keyboard, machine tool operation panel (mode / scale / emergency stop)

✅ Button scanning and encoding: Signal collection of panel buttons, encoding and transmission to GMM main control

✅ Data conversion of display: Convert GMM graphics / text data to CRT scanning signals

❌ No 3D/2D graphics acceleration: Only basic text / simple graphics display (much weaker than GMR22/24)

❌ No general I/O and communication: Not responsible for machine tool I/O, RS-232 or Ethernet (assumed by GRS01)

III. Hardware Specifications

Power supply: Backplane DC5V, approximately 15W

Display interface: CRT dedicated (not VGA), resolution 640×480 (single color / color)

Panel interface: 50-pin MDI keyboard + 34-pin operation panel

Temperature: Working 0℃~+55℃; Storage **−25℃~+85℃**

Compatible display: Anson original 9-inch CRT (single color / green / color)

IV. Interface Definitions (CN1~CN4)

CN1: System bus → Connects GMM main control (data / power)

CN2: CRT output → 9-inch CRT display (line / field synchronization + video)

CN3: MDI keyboard → 50-pin keyboard interface

CN4: Operation panel → 34-pin machine tool panel signal (emergency stop, mode, feed rate, etc.) Indicator light

PWR: Normal power supply (always on)

RUN: Display / Panel running (1Hz flashing)

ALM: Display / Panel alarm (always on)

VII. Pairing Rules (Strict)

✅ GMM11 (4 axes / 256KB) + GRT01 (CRT) + GRS01 (I/O): 2000G standard CRT configuration

✅ GMM12 (6 axes / 512KB) + GRT01 (CRT) + GRS01 (I/O): 3000G basic CRT configuration

❌ GMM22 (8 axes / 1MB): GRT01 is not available, must be paired with GMR24 (VGA/3D)

❌ GMR22/GMR24: Cannot be mixed with GRT01 (Slot2 is unique, display architecture is incompatible)

VI. Differences from GMR22/GMR24/GRS01 Core

GRT01: CRT display + Panel I/O, Slot2, 15W, old-style text / simple graphics, equipped with GMM11/12

GMR22: VGA 2D graphics, 640×480, Slot2, 18W, economical type, equipped with GMM11/12

GMR24: VGA 3D graphics, 1024×768, Slot2, 25W, high-end type, equipped with GMM22

GRS01: General I/O + communication, Slot3, 12W, no display, fully compatible with GMM

VII. Common Faults

CRT no display: CN2 loose, CRT lamp tube aging, display driver chip damaged

Keyboard no response: CN3 contact failure, keyboard scanning circuit fault, key matrix damaged

Panel button disorder: CN4 wiring error, panel encoding chip fault, GMM firmware incompatibility

ALM always on: GMM and GRT01 versions do not match, backplane power unstable, board card aging
